We just stayed here through the July school holidays. It was a lovely week, filled with lots of fun interacting with the many animals on the property. The donkeys and free range guinea pigs were our favourite. The house was so cosy and warm and Andy made us very welcome. What a great place.

“Great farm stay..”
We had a great time at birchfield, Sophie and Andy were really lovely. the farm was lots of fun with all the different animals and lots of space to roam. It was great for us to be able to have our dog with us. I'd recommend this property for families as there is a lot of room and beds.

“Awesome place! 5 stars!”
Had such a great weekend, I highly recommend this place! My wife and I arrived to a warm wood fire cranking inside, and the place was extremely warm and cosy due to the hay. Met Andy and he was great, he gave gave us plenty of information and was very friendly. Bought our 2 dogs who had a ball. They had some great places to hike around and heaps of different animals to feed and interact with. My only mistake was not booking for a few extra nights! We will definatley be back and are looking at booking there again in a few weeks time.

“Great rustic farm stay for the family”
A well equipped rustic farm stay - popular with the kids (our are 6 & 9yrs) because for the farm animals & freedom they can have there. Well insulated with the straw & lovley pot belly fire inside with a fire stove outside for a lovely ‘camp’ fire. Great fun!

“This is a great place to stay especially for families with young kids who like nature. The kids loved the alpacas, donkey, ducks and pigs. It was peaceful, safe and quiet with the kids thrilled with feeding the animals and running around on a small farm.”

Great place to stay. We felt very welcome by Andy. It's a unique little house, perfect for our small family on a tight budget. We were so very relaxed, as the grounds were very safe for our two little children. I let them go and adventure, and they just loved being able to pet the guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, and donkeys. The trampoline was also a big hit. With so many animals were were surprised at how quiet the place was, and really enjoyed our sleep ins. We highly recommend and will most certainly be back!

“Absolutely loved our farm stay!!!”
We were lucky enough to stay at Birchfield Farmstay for two nights & only wished our stay was longer! Andy was a great host, and even though we were literally neighbors you felt like you had the property to yourself. It's a very authentic farm stay with the ducks, guinea fowl, peacocks, chooks & guinea pigs roaming the property (and come to your front door for a feed :)). Our boys just loved it. It's incredibly warm & quiet with a uniqueness that we personally loved. If your after a real bush experience this place is for you!!
